Why Arizona's Best HOA Professionals Choose AMCOR

Stability in an Unstable Industry

In an industry known for high turnover, AMCOR stands apart. Our family-oriented culture means your colleagues become true teammates. Most of our team members have been with us for years – some for decades.

“We strive to not have a revolving door of employees. In an industry with massive turnover, we have well above average employee retention,” says Jim Nelson, who’s been with AMCOR since the early days.

Here’s how we’re different:

  • Family atmosphere: We work hard, but we also take care of one another. From celebrating milestones to stepping in when someone needs help, we operate like a close-knit family.
  • Team collaboration: You’re never alone here. We share ideas, solve problems together, and support each other’s success.
  • Work-life balance: We acknowledge your personal time and give you space to decompress from the demands of community management.

Comprehensive Benefits That Show We Care

Financial Security:

  • Competitive salary based on your experience and skills
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company contribution
  • Medical insurance allowance to help you stay healthy
  • Car allowance for managers so you’re equipped for the job

  • Flexible daily schedules that work with your life
  • $50 monthly fitness credit because your health matters

A Mission Worth Supporting

Every day, you’ll help Arizona communities thrive. You’ll build lasting relationships with HOA boards and residents, seeing the direct impact of your work on property values and community satisfaction.

“We take pride in providing outstanding service to the communities we manage — with honesty, integrity, and heart,” explains Robin Thomas, who leads our team development efforts.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualities

  • Customer Service Excellence: You genuinely enjoy helping people and building positive relationships with HOA boards and residents. In our business, relationships are everything.
  • Strong Work Ethic: You’re dependable, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile for the communities you serve. When board members call, they know they can count on you.
  • Growth Mindset: You’re open to feedback, eager to learn Arizona HOA regulations, and committed to professional development. The best community managers never stop learning.
  • Team Player: You thrive in our collaborative, family-oriented environment where everyone supports each other’s success.

Experience & Education

  • Property management experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Reliable transportation for community visits
  • We value the right attitude and will train the right person

The truth is, we’d rather hire someone with great people skills and a strong work ethic than someone with experience but the wrong attitude. We can teach you about reserve studies and governing documents – we can’t teach you to care about people.

Complete Compensation Package

Competitive Base Salary

We offer salary ranges competitive with the Arizona property management market, with compensation based on your experience and potential.

Comprehensive Benefits

  • Health: Medical insurance allowance to keep you and your family healthy
  • Retirement: 401(k) with company contribution for your future security

Your Career Path at AMCOR

Advancement from Within

We believe in promoting our team members. Your career progression might look like:
Assistant Community Manager → Community Manager → Senior Community Manager → Leadership roles

“The knowledge and skills compound over time, and hence you deliver more value,” Jim Nelson explains. “Issues are resolved faster when you truly know the communities you serve.” This philosophy applies to our team development too.

Professional Development Investment

We invest in your growth through:

  • Arizona HOA certification programs
  • Industry conference attendance
  • Continuing education support
  • Mentorship from seasoned professionals
  • Community Association Institute training

Why People Stay at AMCOR

When employees stay with communities for years, they develop deep knowledge that benefits everyone. The same manager who helped a board through their first major roof replacement is there five years later to guide them through their next big decision.

That’s the kind of lasting relationship we build – with our communities and with our team members.

What It's Really Like to Work Here

Arizona-Focused Expertise

You’ll work exclusively with Arizona HOA communities from Phoenix Valley to Prescott, building deep knowledge of local regulations, monsoon preparedness, desert landscaping challenges, and community needs.

Unlike national companies where you’re just another employee, you’ll become a recognized expert in Arizona HOA management.

Small Business, Big Impact

Experience the personal touch of a family-owned business while managing significant portfolios. You’ll know your colleagues personally, see leadership regularly, and have your voice heard on important decisions.

“We have a small versus corporate atmosphere,” Jim Nelson notes. “Most of our team members have been with us for many years.”

Meaningful Work

Help HOA boards navigate complex decisions, maintain property values, and create thriving communities where people are proud to live. When you drive through neighborhoods you manage, you’ll see the direct impact of your work.
